On November 17, 2010, EHL Ottawa members gathered at the Bronson Centre for a hands-on resume workshop. HR professionals from national health-based organizations as well as a partner from a national executive recruitment firm participated in a panel discussion on resumes, addressing issues such as how the screening process works, the purpose and importance of cover letters, how to showcase leadership skills early in one’s career, and online tools. This discussion was followed by speed-dating style one-on-one consultations where EHL members received personalized advice on their resumes.
