Anaïck Briand, Co-Chair

Anaïck was first introduced to the Emerging Health Leaders organization as a member of the Montreal node. Anaick has several years of nursing experience, having worked at Héma-Québec, at CHU Ste-Justine and at the McGill University Health Center (MUHC). She has also supervised undergraduate students in Nursing at the University of Montreal during their critical care internship. In her current position as a project manager at the Nursing Directorate of the MUHC, she implements the program Transforming Care at the Bedside throughout the organization. This quality improvement project targets the front line staff and the patient representatives. These teams learn how to implement changes in their unit in order to redesign their work environment and improve the efficiency and efficacy of their work processes. Anaïck is also a facilitator for these teams. She earned a Bachelor in Nursing Sciences at the University of Montreal and a Masters’ in Health Administration (MHA) at the University of Montreal as well as a complementary diploma in Management of the health care system.

Marie-Douce Primeau, Co-Chair

Marie-Douce PrimeauMarie- Douce Primeau has nearly ten years of experience in management and evaluation of projects and programs in the health care field and the community field . She has an MA in political science, a doctorate in public health administration and a complementary option postgraduate degree in analysis and evaluation of health interventions (AnÉIS).

 

 

 Carmen Bonvin, Communication

 

Carmen has 7+ years experience in industry and works for Roche Diagnostics. She is responsible for the commercialization of diagnostic tests in Canada. Carmen has a bachelor and master in bioengineering from EPFL in Switzerland and an MBA in general management from IMD in Switzerland as well.
